HP Multi Jet Fusion 5200
A printer that is the ideal choice for both single-piece and batch production of final parts.
Printer description
HP MJF technology works on the principle of sintering fine plastic powder. The printed parts are fully comparable to parts produced using traditional injection moulding processes. They have a smooth surface with no visible layering. In addition, the mechanical properties are the same in all axes, which is not common with other 3D printers.
The printing process itself is unique in that the sintering time for a single layer is constant, regardless of the complexity of the parts. Compared to SLS printers, this makes production planning easier. The surface of the parts can be further modified by post-processing such as chemical vaporisation (smoothing) or PolyShot Surfacing (blasting and polishing).
If you need a 3D printer that specialises in 3D printing from a wide range of special materials, choose the Fortus 450mc.
