Xact Metal XM200G
Industrial 3D printer for manufacturing functional metal parts.
Printer description
Selective Laser Melting (SLM) technology is a powder-based additive method that uses a high-power laser to melt thin layers of metal powder based on CAD data. This technology enables highly accurate and detailed production of complex geometries with many features that would be difficult or impossible to obtain using traditional manufacturing methods such as machining or casting.
Parts produced by SLM from metal powders can then be further modified using conventional technologies such as machining, grinding, polishing, welding or heat treatment, ensuring their high quality and adaptability to specific industrial applications.
